Torreda Presents the new Palpator HD CNC. This new CNC lathe provides our customers a level of accuracy, speed, and capability previously unavailable.
This new lathe is available in 3, 4, and 5* axis with 2 or 3 copiers. The sophisticated control system allows complicated working of the turning and for the first time on a woodturning lathe, ETCHING.

The optional third copier can be equipped with a router/milling unit keeping it available for roping & fluting at all times. No longer do you need to add or remove the router/milling unit when transitioning from turning to roping & fluting. Turnings can be completed with roping & fluting in the same cycle.
The heavy duty construction gives the Palpator HD CNC the stability needed for turning. Thanks to the 3.8 Tn base, this machine is especially designed to minimize operational vibration.
The high speed ball-screw and the powerful carriage motor permits travel speeds of up to 45m/m.
The 300 mm/11.8” turning diameter and optional 400 mm/15.7” capacity is easily turned using the 12 hp spindle servo-motor. The servo-motor is rated at .000 mm accuracy resulting in extremely accurate roping & fluting profiles.
New integrated electrical box, and new isolated cabinet for the spindle give an extra weight to the machine and less noise overall.
The new industrial control panel by ECS is designed to be both user friendly and provide a full visual representation of the work process.
